From 1974 through 1975, Federica Marangoni was invited by Giuseppe Mazzariol to hold a workshop course on the technology of new materials for the International University of Art, UIA of Venice.
From 1976 through 1989, she worked as assistant professor in the department of Art and Art Education for New York University, holding courses and seminars in New York and summer courses in Venice on sculpture and design, focused on glass as material, heading a special course in Murano for glass design. Invited in many other Universities and Art foundations in the USA she gives lectures particularly on the theme “Art, Arts&Crafts, Design: confrontation, analysis and interactivity”.
In 2001 Marangoni creates for the Town of Este, Padua, the triennial exhibition “Ceramica al centro” (Ceramic at the centre) for the survey of the great ceramic tradition of the territory, which has continued until 2011. The products designed by international artists and architects for these event and realized in the local ceramic factories, formed a great exhibition curated by FM also invited in New York as well as at the Triennale of Milan.
In 2012, she lectured “LIGHT IS ALWAYS FREE”, for the course on Light Art, Design Department at the Polytechnic of Milan. Federica Marangoni was also invited to the architecture and design special event of INTERNI magazine, at the Università Statale, Fuorisalone Milan 2013/2014.
