The Reconstructed Body’s Trunk in a market square, 1975
Reproductions of the body in solid polyester inserted in a small black cupboard. The reconstructed body is a work of great importance both to the cycle of research on plastics and because it may be considered the prelude to the future cycle of Performances. It is an object the Artist can move for squares and markets as well as Galleries. Like the trunk with drawers full of merchandise, old pedlars’ memories, this contains pieces of a female body, the marketing of woman.

Il corpo ricostruito, opera fondamentale sia per il ciclo di ricerca sui materiali plastici, sia perché può essere considerata il preludio al futuro ciclo di Performances, è un oggetto mobile che l’Artista può portare per piazze e mercati, come il baule con i cassetti pieni di merce, memoria dei vecchi ambulanti, questo contiene pezzi di un corpo femminile, la mercificazione della donna.
